Ann Schroeder

Chief Executive Officer

Ann Schroeder is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Ann brings over 25 years of experience in investment research and technology development. After founding and managing a successful research firm, GlobalSource Partners, Inc., for over 20 years, Ann utilized her experience to champion the development of a technology platform that addresses the needs of both research producers and research consumers. Her extensive background in the research industry has proven instrumental in harnessing and deploying the critical real-world input needed for the development of GS Direct’s best-in-class platform.

Leno Toich

Chief Information Officer

Leno Toich brings over 30 years of experience in information technology and SaaS business management and operations. His initial roles involved development and key account interface at small software firm which was acquired by Informa PLC in 1998. He was then given full management responsibility for that firm, Informa Investment Solutions in 2003. Under his leadership, it became an industry leading provider of enterprise SaaS software and content. During his tenure, the business grew from $5M with 30 employees to over $50M with 200 employees. Leno is thrilled to bring his talent and expertise to GS Direct, and help take the firm to the next level.

Penn Egbert

Senior Advisor

Penn Egbert currently serves as Managing Director and U.S. Director of Research at Bank of Montreal. He was previously Managing Director and Co-Director of Americas Equity Research at Goldman Sachs and prior to that he served as Managing Director and Head of Global Markets Research, Americas for Nomura Securities International and as Head of US Equity Product Management at Barclays and Lehman Brothers in New York. He has also played instrumental roles in leading several entrepreneurial start-ups. Penn’s broad experience and extensive background in the research industry brings an additional layer of expertise to the GS Direct team.
